Peter J Minnich

Peter J .Minnich, 64, Berne passed away Saturday, December 13,2014 at his home. He was born to Urban and Helena(Welsch) Minnich on October 14, 1950 in Portland Indiana.

Peter was a member of the St. Marys of the Presentation Church, Geneva Indiana and a graduate of Purdue University. He was owner of the Edelweiss Floral & Gift Shop in Berne for 35 years. Peter was a very talented and creative florist as he displayed his floral arrangments. He was also active in the Jay County Arts Place. His interests included his love for animals, gardening, and traveling.

Survivors include his sister, Jane (Jerry) Minch of Findlay, Ohio, niece, Julie Logsdon of Findlay Ohio, and nephew, Jon Minch of Columbus, Ohio.

Preceding in death are his parents.

Funeral services are Thursday, December 18, 2014, 10:30am at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne with visitation one hour prior to services. Visitation also Wednesday, 17 from 3:00 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Officiating is Father Joseph Perera.

Burial is in the M. R. E. Cemetery, Berne.

Preferred memorials are to the Adams County Foundation Scholarship Fund in Peter's name and/or Adams County Humane Society.
