Terri Ann Berry, 65, of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her home at 10:02 a.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, on December 9, 1959, she was a cherished daughter to Donald and Judith (Mullica) Bengel, who survive her. Terri was a proud graduate of the Snider High School Class of 1977. On August 7, 1982, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Timothy R. Berry, at the Wesleyan Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Terri dedicated 37 years to a distinguished career as the Court Administrator for the Allen County Circuit Court, a role from which she retired in 2022. After retirement, she found great joy in continuing to serve her community as a teacher assistant at St. Rose Catholic School.
A woman of deep faith and community spirit, Terri was a devoted member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville, where she actively contributed to the Women’s Guild. She was also a proud charter member of the Monroeville Lions Club, dedicating 25 years of service. Terri found joy in cultivating her flower gardens and shared a passion for the open road with her husband Tim, spending 20 years riding a Harley Davidson together.
Above all, Terri's greatest love was her family. She treasured every possible moment she could spend with her grandchildren, faithfully attending their extra-curricular events and creating lasting memories on beloved camping trips.
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her devoted husband, Timothy R. Berry of Monroeville ; her daughters, Jennifer Gasparini of Hoagland and Rachael Juricak of Monroeville ; her parents, Donald and Judith Bengel of Fort Wayne ; and her siblings, Debbie (Tom) Vanderford of Elkhart , Tammy (Nelson) Peters of Fort Wayne , Dave (Debbie) Bengel of Fort Wayne , and Traci Bohdan of Fort Wayne. She was the proud and adoring grandmother to five grandchildren: Addison Berry, Gino & Luca Gasparini, and Gavin & Dylan Juricak. Terri is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, PJ Gasparini, and her mother-in-law, Ruth Newman.
Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, in Monroeville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville , with Father Dennis DiBenedetto officiating. Terri will be laid to rest at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Monroeville following the Mass.
Preferred memorials in Terri’s memory can be made to the St. Rose Catholic School.
