Shirley Ann Swoveland

Shirley Ann Swoveland, 85, of Berne, Indiana passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.

She was born on February 4, 1935, in Berne, Indiana to late Cleo Hartman and the late Clara (Biberstine) Hartman. She was united in marriage to Ted Swoveland on November 28, 1959 and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2011.

Shirley was a member of the Berne Evangelical Church.

She was retired from Swiss Village in Berne in the house keeping department.

Shirley enjoyed and cherished spending time with her family and close friends.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Swoveland of Sturgis, Michigan; daughter, Marsha Swoveland of Decatur, Indiana; brother, LaVerne (Karen) Hartman of Berne, Indiana; and a granddaughter, Heather Affolder.

Shirley was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jebadiah and Ashley McCullough; brother, Leon Hartman; and two sisters, Louise Hartman and Mildred Arnold.

Private family services will be held and burial will be at Berne Evangelical Cemetery.
