Sharon Louise Schlaudroff, 83, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on March 23, 1942, in Monroeville, Indiana to the late Wilbur and Irma (Salzbrenner) Grotrian.
Sharon was united in marriage to Jerry Wayne Schlaudroff on May 20, 1962 at St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock.
A woman of deep faith, she was a dedicated member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Soest in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her commitment to the church was evident through her participation in the church choir and the Ladies Aid organization, where she offered her time and service to fellow congregants. Additionally, she enjoyed the fellowship and learning opportunities provided by the Better Halves Home Economic Club.
She was a 1960 graduate of Hoagland High School. She retired from Williams Financial with over 50 years of service as an administrative assistant.
Sharon enjoyed gardening, taking pleasure in nurturing her plants and utilizing her bountiful harvests through canning. She also enjoyed the friendly competition of bowling. Above all, she delighted in nature, particularly in watching and feeding hummingbirds, a simple joy that brought her peace. However, her greatest passion was spending time with her beloved family, especially cheering on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their many activities and events.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jerry Schlaudroff of Monroeville, Indiana; daughter, Chris (Denny) Gerardot of Monroeville, Indiana; son,Doug (Nora) Schlaudroff of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, Randy (Amy) Schlaudroff of Hoagland, Indiana; seven grandchildren: Amber (Zach) Elder, Tyler (Sarah) Gerardot, Miranda Gerardot, Charlie Schlaudroff, Chase Schlaudroff, Brooke Schlaudroff, & Charlotte Schlaudroff and six great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Soest, 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne, Indiana with Pastor Josef Henning officiating. Burial will follow at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Soest.
Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Soest, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Monday at the church.
Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Roof Fund) or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
