Sandra Rice

Sandra (Roth) Rice, 52, of Berne, Indiana passed away early Sunday morning, April 26, 2026, at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on April 6, 1974 in Decatur, Indiana to Kenneth L. Roth and Janice (Bailey) Barr and both of them preceded her in death.

Sandra had previously worked at Gold Shield and REV in Decatur. Prior to that, she had worked as a CAN at Miller’s Merry Manor and Swiss Village in Berne.

Sandra enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren. Sandra was considered by many as “mom/grandma”.

She is survived by a son, Joseph Roth-Bradley of New Castle, Indiana; daughter, Jaden Lybarger (Shane Clevenger) of Portland, Indiana; daughter, Jenna Roth-Bradley (Kenneth Beck) of Berne, Indiana; brother, William (Karen) Hart of Monroeville, Indiana; sister, Treva (Lloyd) Johnson of Anderson, Indiana; and three grandchildren, Jacob Roth-Bradley, Aurora Lybarger, and Ariel Clevenger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Neal Hart and two sisters: Cynthia Nieves & Donna Hodle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
