Robert E. Hunt

Robert E. “Bob” Hunt, 66, of Berne, Indiana, passed away Tuesday morning, December 2, 2025, at his residence following a battle with cancer.

He was born on March 3, 1959, in Portland, Indiana, to the late Robert E. and Edna L. (Dailey) Hunt.

Bob attended the High Street Geneva Church in Geneva, Indiana.

He was retired and worked for several different businesses throughout his life.

Bob enjoyed playing the game of pool and driving his corvette.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Hicks of Berne, Indiana; brother, Stanley Hunt of Willshire, Ohio; sister, Brenda Hunt of Berne, Indiana; brother, Terry Hunt of Geneva, Indiana; sister, Deborah Hunt of Berne, Indiana; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne, Indiana, with Pastor Joe Lampton officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva, Indiana.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
