Richard Lee Howe, Jr., 58, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Thursday morning, June 12, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on February 23, 1967 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Richard Lee Howe, Sr. and Marcile M. (Converset) Howe.
Richard worked at Service Champs in Fort Wayne for 20 plus years as a production picker and forklift operator.
Richard was an avid bowler and golfer. Richard was extremely proud of his multiple 300 games as a bowler. He was veracious reader of all genres, and loved the Chicago Bears and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He is survived by his mother, Marcile M. Howe of Monroeville, Indiana; sister, Cheryl L. (Robert) Hart of Monroeville, Indiana; sister, Jana M. Hopper of Harrison, Ohio; brother, James C. Howe of Monroeville, Indiana; sister, Elizabeth A. (Joseph) Bradfield of Garrett, Indiana; seven nieces and nephews; seven great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; Richard Lee Howe, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana with Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Monroeville with Father Dennis Di Benedetto performing the graveside committal service.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville.
Preferred memorials are to Kate's Kart and Humane Fort Wayne.
