Mary L. Snider-McCormack

Mary L. Snider-McCormack, 91, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away into the presence of her Lord and Savior Saturday evening, October 18, 2025, at Stillwater Hospice Home.

She was born on June 5, 1934, in Monroeville, Indiana, and was the youngest daughter of the late Chester and Clara Lehman. Mary was united in marriage to Robert E. Snider on June 21, 1952, and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1975.

Mary was a trained Stephens Minister and an active member of Leo Methodist Church.

She was employed for 33 years by Midwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery before her retirement.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her days were anchored by a deep commitment to God and the dear love she shared with her family and countless friends. She was an avid reader, a devoted sports fan, and enjoyed hiking.

She is survived and dearly loved by her son, Bradley (Linda) Snider of New Haven, Indiana; daughter, Michele Souder of Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Nancy Barcus of Fort Wayne, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Seth (Gabby), Joel (Alysha), Corey (Melanie), and Robert (Kayleen) Snider, Holly (Terry)Dockery, Kelly (Ben) Young, Sarah (Eric) Larocque, and Jill (Curt) Hansen; 15 great-grandchildren with two on the way; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas L. Snider, on September 3, 1999; two sisters, Eva Stevens and Arvis Hart; four brothers, Donald, Edwin, Harold, and Herman Lehman.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Leo Methodist Church in Leo, Indiana, with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Leo Methodist Church, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. 

Preferred memorials can be given to the Leo Methodist Church.
