Martha Jane Williams

Martha Jane Williams, 92, of Amherst, New York passed away early Friday morning, July 3, 2026, at Williamsville Suburban Safire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on August 6, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana the only child of Dwight and Esther (Stewart) Williams.

Martha was a graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis with the class of 1951, she was a dedicated member of both the United Methodist Church and the Oakland Chapter #159 Order of the Eastern Star. Professionally, she built a distinguished 30-year career with the Indiana National Bank, where she worked diligently in the trust department and frequently traveled on the bank's behalf. Following her successful tenure in Indiana, she relocated and continued her career in the banking industry in Florida.

She is survived by her dear friends, Nancy & Vic Miller of Clarence, New York and a cousin, Sandra Boni of Alaska.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 22, 2026, at Crown Hill Cemetery located at 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.

Memorials can be given in Martha’s name to Oakland Chapter #159 Order of the Eastern Star, 11756 Verdin Street, Indianapolis, IN 46236.
