Kathleen K. “Kathy” Lepper, 60, of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on November 7, 1965 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Orville H. and Delores (Van Meter) Lepper.
Kathy was an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Monroeville where she had served on the church council. She was a founding member of the Cornerstone Youth Center in Monroeville.
She was employed with Titan Title in Fort Wayne, Indiana for over 30 years.
It was important for Kathy to give back to her community. She devoted much of her time to serving at the food bank, “Tuesday’s Table”, at St. Mark’s. She loved and cherished her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She also loved dogs and enjoyed taking care of her grand-dogs. Kathy was an amazing cook and showed her love to others through cooking for them. She loved singing and enjoyed her time singing in the Monroeville area cantata.
Survivors include her sister, Karen S. (Lynn) Hoekstra of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sister-in-law, Vicki Lepper of Seguin, Texas; nieces and nephews, Matthew (Katie) Hoekstra, Jonathan (Elia) Hoekstra, Benjamin (Shauna) Hoekstra, and Jessica (Cynthia) Roberts; great-nieces and nephews, Tristan Hoekstra, Jacinda Hoekstra, Cooper & Samantha Hoekstra, Emelia Hoekstra, Charlotte Hoekstra, Drew Hoekstra, Madison Hoekstra, and Parker Hoekstra.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cristine Roberts; two brothers, Michael & Steven Lepper; and a nephew, Ryan Roberts.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2026, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Monroeville, Indiana, with Pastor David Williamson officiating.
Friends and family will be received from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
Preferred memorials can be given to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
