Joseph L. Schwartz, 66, rural Monroe farmer passed away on February 13, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. He was born to Jacob R and Lydia Hilty on September 28, 1951. He married Christine F. Schwartz on February 9, 1975 who survives.

Survivors include 6 sons, 3 daughters, 1 sister, 4 brothers, and 57 grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, February 17, 2018, 9 am at his home(2500S, 200E,Monroe). Visitation also Thursday from 1 to 8 pm, Friday from 9 am to 8 pm at the home. Officiating is John N. Schwartz. Burial is in the Schwartz Cemetery
