Jessie Maitlen
March 12, 1923 — April 13, 2019
Jessie Maitlen, 96 a resident of Berne for over 60 years passed away Saturday April 13, 2019 at 9:12 p.m. at the Swiss Village in Berne. Jessie was born March 12, 1923 in Illinois to the late Atson and Ollie Knuckles. She was united in marriage to Harrison Maitlen in 1939 in Kentucky and he passed away in 1999. She retired in 1988 as a line worker at CTS in Berne after more than 40 years of employment.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Jodi Maitlen of Broomfield, Colorado and Todd Maitlen of Jerrell, Texas, also a daughter-in-law, Diane Maitlen from Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her son: Darrell Maitlen
Private family services will be held at later date. Burial will be in MRE Cemetery in Berne.
