James V. Bourquin

James V. “Jim” Bourquin, 65, of Hoagland, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 4, 1961, in Canton, Ohio, to James Raymond Bourquin, who preceded him in death, and Paula (Mariol) Bourquin.

Jim was a member of the American Legion Post #420 in Monroeville, Indiana. He was a longtime self-employed mechanic and was very passionate about his work. Jim enjoyed spending time outdoors and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his son, Mason Reeves of Monroeville, Indiana; mother, Paula Bourquin of Canton, Ohio; two sisters, Shirley (Ken) Debono of Schenectady, New York and Victoria Bourquin-Billman of Louisville, Ohio; and half-brother, Jeff (Laura) Bourquin of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

There will be no services at this time.
