Jack L. Aurand

Jack L. Aurand, 86, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on November 16, 1938, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Elbert and Elizabeth (Peterson) Aurand.

He was employed as a truck driver at BT Truck Lines and retired in 2002. He previously worked at Phelps Dodge Corporation for 23 years as a crane operator.

Survivors include his son, Michael (Joan) Aurand of Monroeville, Indiana; son, Scott (Kathleen) Aurand of Flowermound, Texas; daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Spieth of Monroeville, Indiana; son, Joe (Tonya) Aurand of Bokeelia, Florida; six grandchildren, Melissa (Brent) Hammond, Ian Aurand, Brent Aurand, Jake Aurand, Sara (Nate) Beer, and Nicholas (Lizzie) Spieth; and nine great-grandchildren, Ali (Benjamin) Overholt, Isabelle Hammond, Zaylah Aurand, Autumn Aurand, Adyson Beer, Lawson Beer, Bowie Spieth, Stevie Spieth, and Milo Spieth.

Jack was preceded in death by one sister, Nanna Sutton; and brother, Thomas Aurand.

In honoring Jack’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
