Gerri L. Ellis

Gerri L. Ellis, 64, of Decatur, Indiana passed away early Saturday morning May 24, 2025, at Envive Healthcare in Berne, Indiana.

She was born on March 29, 1961, in Lima, Ohio to the late James R. and Eva M. (Graham) Clem.

Gerri was united in marriage to Ricky Ellis and he preceded her in death in 2012.

Gerri was a caretaker to her brother-in-law John Sheets until her health declined.

Gerri enjoyed crocheting

Survivors include a sister, Marcia Miller of Decatur, Indiana; two brothers, Robert L. (Becky) Clem and James W. (Pam) Clem both of Decatur, Indiana; and nieces and nephews.

Gerri was preceded in death by sister, Darlene Sheets; brother, Charles (Marlene) Clem; brother-in-law, Nick Miller; and a niece April Clem.

In honoring of Gerri’s wishes no services will be held.

Preferred memorials can be given to ACCF- Cancer.
