Gary R. Frentz

Gary R. Frentz, 70, of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born on April 28, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Robert Frentz and Clara (Schaper) Frentz.

Gary was united in marriage to Lisa Ledwith on September 24, 1983 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.

Gary was the owner Frentz Construction where he spent his career building homes, including the custom home he built for his family. Gary took great pride in his work and loved the challenge of taking a blueprint and creating something tangible that would last.

Gary enjoyed his woodworking hobby. He was able to take a raw piece of wood and create something unique. Gary loved being outdoors. He was an avid hunter especially deer and ducks. He also enjoyed gardening in his retirement. He was a proud grandfather to Maverick and they shared a truly special bond.

Gary is survived by his wife, Lisa Frentz of Monroeville, Indiana; daughter, Amanda (Ben) McCarthy of Evansville, Indiana; son, Eric (Tabby) Frentz of Auburn, Indiana; and grandson, Maverick Frentz.

Funeral services for Gary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville with Pastor Ralph Klinker officiating. A burial service will follow at the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
