Flora A. Love

Flora A. Love, 49, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away Wednesday evening, July 8, 2026, surrounded by her family at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on December 6, 1976, in Decatur, Indiana to John P. Springer and the late Anna B. (Ball) Springer. Flora was united in marriage to Marcus D. Love on September 3, 1993.

Flora found great joy in life's simple pleasures, including camping, knitting, playing card and board games, and capturing special moments through countless photographs. She had a deep love for her dogs, who brought her endless companionship and happiness. Above all else, the greatest joy of her life was spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Marcus Love of Decatur, Indiana; son, Marcus Love II of Decatur, Indiana; son, Trevor (Haley) Love of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Alexis (Brittany) Flesher of Decatur, Indiana; son, Skylar Love of Decatur, Indiana; father, John Springer of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Mary (Frank) Neal of West Virginia; sister, Cindy (Dan) Murdock of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Quincy (Karen) Springer of Decatur, Indiana; brother, John Hirchey Coldwater, Michigan; and four grandchildren, Tone, Kollyns, Kash, and Banks.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Springer; two brothers, Harold “Pete” Hirchey and Arthur “Paul” Springer.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana, with Pastor Ernie Suman officiating. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials may be given to Turnstone (Golden Steps ABA).
