Delores was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New Haven. She graduated from Hoagland High School with the Class of 1948. Following her retirement from waitressing, Delores worked at “A Party Apart,” as the head of the laundry department, sewing many linens that enhanced so many events and weddings for customers in Fort Wayne.
Delores enjoyed creating and sewing gifts for the grandchildren. She created beautiful baptismal gowns from wedding dresses of family and friends. She liked to tend to her flowers and watch the humming birds that visited her gardens.
