Daniel Wayne Scott, 50, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on August 6, 1975, in Bellefountaine, Ohio, to the late Sonny Ray Scott and Connie (Cowen) Brukelmeyer.
Daniel loved his cat, Kitty. He enjoyed playing video games with family.
Survivors include his life partner, Tina Sloan of Decatur, Indiana; step-mother, Lily Scott; brother, Shawn Scott; brother, Dustin Scott; brother, Berry Scott; brother, Billy Scott; sister, Sunni Scott; and step-brother, Brandy Boyer.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sonny James Scott.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
