Clyde E. Linder, 84, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Adams Woodcrest Assisted Living in Decatur, Indiana.
He was born on June 5, 1940, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Raymond Charles Linder Sr. and Maria Mildred (VanHorn) Linder.
Clyde was a member of Decatur Grace Fellowship Church. He also was a former member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
Clyde was employed at Gold Shield as a janitor for nine years. He also was employed at several industries for 38 years prior to Gold Shield.
Clyde loved fishing and spending time outside.
Survivors include his sister, Donna Rose Linder of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Paul Linder of Bluffton, Indiana; and best-friend, Vivyan Lloyd of Decatur, Indiana.
Clyde was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ellen Dues, Sara Sims, and Mary Kiser; three brothers, Raymond C. Linder III, Dennis Linder, and Donald Linder; half-brother, Jim VanHorn; and half-sisters, Julia Rose Minear and Marie Jane Bruner.
Private services will be held, and burial will be at Decatur Cemetery.
Preferred memorials can be given to Adams Woodcrest Assisted Living.
