Christian Tobias Shelton

Christian Tobias Shelton, cherished son of Nathan Shelton and Kendra (Reimer) Shelton, was born sleeping on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. His mom Kendra is an RN at Holy Family Birth Center in Fort Wayne while dad Nathan is currently enrolled as a student at the Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne.

He is also survived by sisters, Eleanor, brothers, Levi and Joshua all at home; Maternal grandparents Duane and Colleen Reimer of Columbia City, Indiana; Paternal grandfather Todd Shelton of Decatur, Indiana; Paternal grandmother, Susan Thorn – Dyer of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Maternal great grandparents, Don and Judy Kreider of Columbia City, Indiana; Paternal great grandparents Bob and Ann Thorn of Decatur, Indiana. He was preceded in death by a sibling in 2017; paternal great-grandparents, George E. (Norma Jean) Shelton and maternal great grandparents Bryce and Shirley Reimer.

Funeral services for Christian will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at St. John Lutheran Church – Bingen with Pastor Peter Brock and Pastor Berett Steffen officiating. Burial will follow the services at the St. John Lutheran Cemetery – Bingen.
