Alice Rosemary Caffee

Alice Rosemary Caffee, 92, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Adams Woodcrest, Decatur, Indiana.

She was born on November 22, 1933, in Schumm, Ohio, to the late Carl and Esther (Dull) Weinman. Rosemary was united in marriage to Donald L. Caffee on December 31, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church in Chattanooga, Ohio. Donald preceded her in death on August 11, 2015.

Rosemary worked for several years at Clouse’s grocery store in Willshire before dedicating herself to being a homemaker, raising her family on the family farm. A devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church, she shared her love for music by singing in the church choir and actively served her congregation on the Social Committee, where she helped with numerous funeral dinners over the years.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Jeff) Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her son, Kevin (Robin) Caffee of Willshire, Ohio; and her sister, Colleen (Bill) Schlickman of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Tangeman and Justin Jones, and two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Turner Tangeman.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Reichard.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana, with Pastor Adam Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Chattanooga, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home for visitation one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Preferred memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church in Chattanooga, Ohio.
