Ada Claudine Hall

Ada Claudine Hall, 85, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

She was born on October 31, 1940, in LaFollette, Tennessee, to the late Birch and Sarah (Shoun) Heatherly.

Ada was united in marriage to Robert G. Hall on August 1, 1964, in LaFollette, Tennessee. They shared many wonderful years together until his passing on March 13, 2010.

Ada attended East Tennessee State University and began her career as an elementary school teacher. She later worked for Aeroquip in Van Wert, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

A woman of quiet faith, Ada attended First Baptist Church in Van Wert, Ohio. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially gardening and reading. Above all, Ada cherished her family and especially loved being a grandmother. Time spent with her grandchildren brought her immense joy and created treasured memories.

Survivors include her son, Robert A. Hall of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Cheryl (Corey) Wolfe of Normal, Illinois; two sisters, Joyce Carroll of Warren, Indiana and Frances Waddle of Greeneville, Tennessee; and two grandsons, Spencer & Ethan Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Anest, Ruby Painter, Pearl Housley, Effie Simonds, Esther Heatherly, and Wilma Heatherly; and her brother, Paul Heatherly.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana, with Pastor Bobby Hile officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Preferred memorials are to First Baptist Church in Van Wert.
