Ronald "Mike" J. Hurst

Mike was born on January 14, 1940 in Decatur, Indiana the son of the late Arthur J. Hurst and the late Anna M. (Burkhead) Hurst.
Mike was a member of the Moose Lodge #1311 in Decatur since 1972.
Mike retired from Decatur Industries in 1987 after 21 years of service; and had previously worked for Tile Mill.
Surviving are his son, Kim J. Hurst of Decatur, IN; son, Jessie R. Hurst of Decatur, IN; brother, Richard Hurst of Pleasant Mills, IN; brother, Carl "Gene" (Shirley) Hurst of Decatur, IN; brother, Jerry (Carmen) Hurst of Decatur, IN; and 3 grandchildren: Avree, Zoee, and Anthony Hurst.
Preceding Mike in death were 2 sisters: Donnabelle Geyer & Barbara Geyer; 2 brothers: Arthur "Jug" Hurst Jr. & Robert Hurst.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Dan York officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN. A Moose Memorial Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
