Marjorie M. Conrad

Marjorie M. Conrad, 93 years old of Monroeville, Indiana and a former longtime resident of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Adams Heritage where she had resided for the past five years.

She was born on Sunday, January 14, 1923 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Lawrence Z. Springer and the late Cleo L. (DeBolt) Springer. She married Fred W. Conrad on October 12, 1943 in Decatur, Indiana and he preceded her in death on October 28, 1999.

Marjorie was a homemaker and had worked at the A & P Grocery Store for 20 years.

Surviving are her son, Terry K. Conrad of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Connie Singleton of Venice, Florida; and sister, Patsy Hackman of North Carolina.

Preceding Marjorie in death were two brothers, Donald and Gerald Springer.

Per Marjorie's wishes, there will be no services and a private burial will be held at Decatur Cemetery.
