Michael L. Evans

Michael L. Evans , 49 years old of Fremont, Indiana and formerly of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in the Parkview Regional Medical Center located in Fort Wayne.

He was born on Saturday, May 11, 1968 in Decatur the son of Daniel L. Evans and Sandra K. (Spears) Kraft.

He was a member of Colony Heights Church of Christ in Fort Wayne.

He was employed as a caregiver for the past few years in Fremont, Indiana and prior to that had worked at Logan's Roadhouse in Fort Wayne.

Surviving are his mother, Sandy Kraft of Decatur, IN; father, Dan (Carla) Evans of Decatur, IN; brother, Mark (Beth) Evans of Decatur, IN; brother, Matt Evans of Decatur, IN; brother, Mason Kraft of Decatur, IN; brother, McAaron Kraft of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Malon (Kelly Kurtz) Kraft of Harlan, IN; maternal grandmother, Millie Painter of Decatur, IN; and paternal grandmother, Millie Pfeiffer of Decatur, IN.

Preceding Michael in death were maternal grandfather, Doyle Painter and paternal grandfather, Howard Pfeiffer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Pastor Ron Walter officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 7 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur .
