Christopher "Chris" Ross

Christopher R. “Chris” Ross, 57, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne as the result of a chronic heart condition.

He was born on Saturday, April 16, 1960 in Decatur, Indiana the son of Leo Ross and Joyce (Young) Ross.

Chris was a self-employed mechanic and was also formerly employed by Adams County Truck Repair in Decatur.

He was a former member of the Eagles Aerie #2653 in Decatur.

Chris loved his motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson, and turning a wrench. He was a devoted son and caregiver to his parents.

Survivors include his parents, Leo & Joyce Ross of Decatur; sister, Doreen (Don) Longworth of Decatur; brother, Larry (Jane) Ross of Decatur; & six nieces & nephews, Amanda High, Ashley Bremer, Matthew Ross, Shane Ross, Adam Ross, & Kazia Ross.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Ross.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Pastor Ernie Suman officiating. Interment will follow in the Ray Cemetery in Monroe, Indiana.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur & one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home .
