Bennie G. Buckner , 67, of Monroe, Indiana passed away early Tuesday morning, August 28, 2018, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 25, 1951 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee to the late James Carl Buckner & the late Millie (Thurmond) Buckner. Bennie married Sheila Sanders on November 14, 2004 in Benton County, Tennessee.He served his country in the United States Army.
Bennie was a past logger. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, & racing.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Buckner of Monroe; sons, JD Burdg, Randall Burdg, Benny Burdg, Jack Buckner, Jeff Buckner, Shawn Buckner, Eric Buckner, & Justin Hankins; daughters, Terri Hasch, Candy Roberson, Melinda Allen, Starla Burdg Edwards & Dawn Cooper: six brothers, Jim Buckner, Floyd Buckner, Henry Buckner, Alvin Buckner, Gene Buckner, & Mark Buckner; three sisters, Sue Cates, Ann Pafford, & Carol Haynes; & 34 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Terry Lane, Gary Lane, Tom Buckner, & William Buckner.
Private family services will be held.
