Christian M. Schwartz

Christian M. Schwartz, 89, rural Berne passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at his home. He was born to Jacob F. and Margaret T. Schwartz on February 16, 1927. He married Susan Schwartz who is deceased and then married Katie Wenger who survives.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish church and was a farmer.

Survivors are 5 sons, 6 daughters, 87 grandchildren and 320 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Sunday, June 5 at 9 am at the residence(6737 S, 300 E, Berne). Visitation Friday, June 3 from 2 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm at the residence. Officiating is Bishop Ben M. Girod. Burial is in the Bunker Hill Cemetery, rural Geneva.
