Helen K. Habegger, 94, Berne passed away on January 2, 2015 at Swiss Village where she was a resident. She was born to Arman & Hilegunda Sprunger Habegger on September 13, 1920 in Adams County, IN.

She was a member of the First Mennonite Church where she was a Sunday School teacher of junior and junior high girls for many years. Her interests included; gardening, devotional readings, music, and traveling. She also volunteered for storytime at Swiss Village KinderHaus and the Gift Shop and at Et Cetera Ecke. She was a former employee at Wayne Novelty in Decatur, Berne Winner House, Berne Witness, and later at The Casual Shoppe.

Survivors include; two nephews, Arman(Sue)Habegger of Pandora, OH., Richard(Carol)Habegger of Winston Salem, N.C., a niece, Lorna(Bob)Harder of Hesston, KA., 4 grand-nephews and one grand-niece.

Preceding in death are her parents, brothers Loris, Richard, and Earl Habegger.

Graveside services are Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 11 AM at the MRE Cemetery, Berne and a memorial service Monday, January 12, at 10 AM with visitation at 9:15 a.m. at the Swiss Village Chapel with Pastor Jerry A. Flueckiger officiating.

Preferred memorials are to the First Mennonite Church Assistance Fund &/or Swiss Village Samaritan Fund.
