Sheila Y. Nevsimal

Sheila Y. Nevsimal, 78, Berne, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at her home. She was born to Norman and Frances(West)Harris on October 14, 1935 in Losantville, IN.

Sheila was a nurse and practiced many years at Chalet Village in Berne. Special interests include; crocheting, quilting, reading, traveling and teaching children crocheting at the Berne Public Library.

Survivors include; daughters, Evelyn S. Hofstetter of Geneva, Jo(James)Biagi of Berne, son, James R. Lindsey of Seattle, Wash., sisters; Shirley Karnes of Vandalia, Sharlene Wetendorf of Decatur, sons; Nick Harris of Farmland, Jimmie Harris of Muncie, grandchildren; Amanda Webb, Mariea Lindsey, Christian Halterman, Gloria and Brian Biagi, Sierra Parker, 9 great-grandchildren including Jayden Kausing.

Preceding in death are her parents, a son, John Nevsimal, brothers, Donnie and Curtis Harris.

Memorial services are Saturday, December 14, at 1:00 pm at the MRE Cemetery Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Officiating is Pastor David Stalker. Burial is in the MRE Cemetery.
