Frances I. Maks

Frances I. Maks, 94, Berne, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Swiss Village. She was born to Michael and Mary(Datkum) Grabas on October 4, 1918 in Riverhead, NY. She married Frank Maks on June 27, 1940 and was married for 66 years.

Frances attended St Isidore's RC Church before moving to Berne. She attended Brown's Business School and later was an assistant bank manager.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Patricia(Charles) Bloss of Riverhead, NY and Michele Maks of Phippsburg, ME. and a son, Francis Maks of Aurora, CO. Eight grandchldren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceding in death are her parents and husband.

She enjoyed playing golf, working in the yard, and snow skiied into her 70's.
