Jane M. Summersett

Jane M. Summersett, 88, Berne passed away Tuesday, September 4 at Swiss Village. She was born to Clarence and Maude (Huffman) Putman on June 7, 1924 in Van Wert County, Ohio. She married Jesse Summesett on June 26, 1943.

Jane was a member of the Springhill Missionary Church where she was active in many activities. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include a son, Kip (Linda) Summesett of Berne and a daughter, Libby (Neil) Stroble of Hartford City, six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Peceding in death are her parents, husband, brothers, Wayne, Gordon, and Murray Putman, and sister, Mary Ellen Couts.

Funeral services are on Saturday, September 8 at 1:30 pm at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home with visitation from 10 am to 1:00 pm prior to the funeral service. Officiating is Pastor Wilton Hull.

Burial is in the Springhill Cemetery, rural Berne.
