Harold E. Myers

October 4, 1925 - December 1, 2011

Harold E. Myers, 86, Berne, passed away Thursday, December 1 at Chalet Village, Berne. He was the son of Floyd and Wilma(Tinkham) Myers.

Harold was owner of Myers Furniture, Willshire, Ohio and had also worked for Sheets Furniture, Decatur. Later while living in Florida he was associated with Sambo's and Clock Restaurants.

Survivors include: a son, Kermit L. Myers, New Haven, a daughter, Karen Cook, Decatur. 2 grandchildren , Jay Cook and Stacia(Cook) Herdman of Decatur. 1 step-granddaughter, Candace Brammer, Fort Wayne and 5 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren. A brother Herbert (Ruth) Myers, Berne, and 3 sisters, Alice (Bill) Patterson, Berne, Izorah Myers, Fort Wayne, Ruth (Myers) Elet, Angola, In.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Myers, Decatur; and one sister in infancy.

Funeral services are Monday, December 5, 7:00 PM at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home with visitation from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Officiating is Pastor Joe Nass,

Graveside services on Tuesday, at 10:00 am at the Mt Hope Cemetery, rural Berne.
